From Prague: Hiking Day — Rock Dwellings, Castle & Picnic｜Czechia

Step into the wild heart of Bohemian nature on a relaxed, dog-friendly hiking day in Kokořínsko, guided by a local expert.
This is not a rushed sightseeing tour, but a scenic countryside walk along easy forest trails, where time slows down and nature takes the lead. We explore lush forests, dramatic sandstone rocks and viewpoints, with plenty of pauses to enjoy the landscape, stories and silence.
Along the way, you’ll discover the famous Pokličky rock formations, shaped like stone mushrooms, hidden forest springs with local legends, and traces of old cave dwellings carved directly into the sandstone. Above it all rises the fairytale Kokořín Castle, a 13th-century fortress surrounded by myths, knights’ tales and medieval history.
Instead of crowds and schedules, we end the walk with a relaxed picnic in nature, sharing local stories and enjoying the atmosphere of the forest.
