Get the bus from Dublin and meet your Achill Island Tours guide in Galway and set off on a journey to Achill Island, Ireland’s most mountainous offshore island. Along the way, enjoy some leisure time in the bustling heritage town of Westport.

Cross the bridge to Achill Island, Ireland’s largest island, and discover its majestic mountains, clear lakes, expanses of bogs, long unspoilt sandy beaches, picturesque villages, and the highest sea cliffs in Ireland.

Drive along the Atlantic Drive, boasting some of the most impressive views of the Atlantic, and admire the fantastic views of Clew Bay. On Achill’s west side, see the secluded Keem Beach, a sight to behold coming down the cliff-top road.

Learn about the island’s world-famous Keem Bay, regularly recognized as one of the world’s finest beaches, and hear about its golden sands and crystal-clear waters. Discover how the surrounding Atlantic waters are a seasonal haven for basking sharks.

Return to Galway for 6:30pm and get the connecting bus back to Dublin, arriving at 9:45 PM.
