A visit to Lapland is not complete without a snowmobile adventure. We offer you a relaxed drive in trails going through snowy forests and over frozen lakes, all in the arctic backyard of Kiruna. There can’t be a better place to have lunch over an open fire!

We prefer to keep our groups small, we only go out with a maximum of 8 snowmobiles per tour, and often less. That way we can keep the experience more personal.

We transfer you from Kiruna City Center and drive you to our base in Laxforsen, located just outside Kiruna not far from Jukkasjärvi. We provide warm clothes (shoes, overall, and gloves) and helmets. Apart from the provided clothing we recommend wearing your own thermal underwear and warm socks. Your guide will start with giving you the safety- and operating instructions of the snowmobile and then continue to guide you through the nature around Torne River and Jukkasjärvi.

We take a stop at our kåta in the woods, a small wooden building with an open fire inside. Here we will warm ourselves, and have lunch: Hot soup, grilled sandwiches and coffee, tea or hot chocolate milk for drinks. Meanwhile you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

After the tour we transfer you back to Kiruna C.
