Aix en Provence: pastis workshop, tour, and tasting｜France

Create your own custom pastis in a real distillation workshop!

You will start with a visit to the Maixent workshop, surrounded by copper stills and bottles of aromatics. You will discover the secrets of distillation and the plants that make up this iconic spirit.

Then it's time for the tasting! You will sample several pastis from different producers to compare their aromatic profiles and refine your palate. The goal: to identify what you like in order to create your own blend.

Accompanied by Maixent, you will carry out your maceration using plants measured to the milliliter. You will gradually build your recipe, experimenting with balances and aromas.

You will leave with a 37 cl bottle of your personalized pastis, ready to be enjoyed with a splash of chilled water!
