Explore Oxford, the "city of Dreaming Spires", on a personal walking tour with a local expert guide.

See the city’s most iconic buildings such as the Sheldonian Theatre, the Radcliffe Camera, the Bodleian Library, the Old Schools Quadrangle and the Bridge of Sighs. (see photos)

Learn about life at the University today. Topics will include: the Oxford tuition system; student life in an Oxford college; the differences between the colleges and their specialities; how you apply to Oxford and how easy it is to get a place at the University?

Learn about the history of the University. Why is there a university in Oxford and how has it changed over the years?

See several of the Oxford Colleges in the city centre, and make a visit inside one college, such as Trinity College, founded in 1555, or New College founded in 1379, and recently seen in the Harry Potter films and Mamma Mia II. If possible the visit will include a college chapel, dining hall and garden.

Learn about some of the famous Oxford writers such as JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis and Lewis Carroll. See places in the city which inspired their writing, and locations which are featured in their books.

The tour starts in Broad Street, and normally ends in Radcliffe Square, or nearby. Sometimes we vary the route due to events in Oxford.

Group size is limited to 16 maximum, so everyone can fully enjoy the tour.
