Explore Kilmartin Glen, home to ancient standing stones, burial cairns, and stone circles, offering a glimpse into Scotland’s prehistoric past. End the day in Oban, the “Gateway to the Isles,” a charming harbor town with beautiful coastal views and a welcoming atmosphere.

Visit Kilchurn Castle, a striking ruin on Loch Awe surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery. Explore Glencoe, renowned for its towering peaks, lush glens, and captivating history. Next, marvel at the Glenfinnan Viaduct, a feat of engineering made famous by the Harry Potter films. Conclude the day with a scenic ferry ride from Mallaig to Armadale, enjoying views of the rugged coastline before arriving in Portree for the night.

Discover Dunvegan Castle, the ancestral home of Clan MacLeod for over 800 years, with its well-preserved interiors and enchanting gardens (entry not included). Marvel at the Old Man of Storr, an iconic rock formation and geological wonder. Continue to Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls, where basalt columns resemble a kilt and a waterfall plunges into the sea. Visit the atmospheric ruins of Duntulm Castle, perched on a cliff with sweeping views of the Outer Hebrides. End the day in the Fairy Glen, a magical landscape of spiral mounds and unique rock formations. Spend the evening in Portree.

Depart Skye via the Skye Bridge, enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding waters. Visit Eilean Donan Castle, one of Scotland’s most photographed landmarks at the meeting point of three lochs (entry not included). Take a tranquil Loch Ness cruise, keeping an eye out for the legendary “Nessie” (cruise not included). Explore Urquhart Castle, perched on Loch Ness’s shores, before heading to Inverness, the vibrant capital of the Highlands, for a relaxed evening.

Start the day at Culloden Battlefield, the site of the last Jacobite uprising in 1746, and walk the historic grounds (guided tour not included). Pause for lunch in Aviemore, nestled in the Cairngorms National Park. Enjoy a Highland whisky tour, uncovering the secrets of Scotland’s whisky-making traditions and sampling premium drams (entry and tasting fees not included).
