The new underground 365 Tage Gallery in Karlsruhe is special for several reasons: The flagship project was realized entirely without public funds through generous donations and sponsorship.
The financing was provided by the enthusiasm of companies and private sponsors through the initiator Anton Goll, who had the idea for the art project and oversaw the unique art project for seven years until its opening. This made it possible to literally put the work on the rails – the Karlsruhe "U-Bahn" as the bearer of a top-class Gesamtkunstwerk. A creative journey from DARKNESS into LIGHT.
