Day 1: Lukla– Trek to Phakding (2,650m) 4 hours.
Your trekking guide will welcome you at Lukla Airport with a name card and give a short briefing about the Everest Base Camp trek. After meeting the team, begin your first day of trekking through beautiful Sherpa villages, prayer wheels, suspension bridges, and the Dudh Koshi River before reaching Phakding.
Day 2: Phakding – Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 5-6 hours.
Today's trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several famous suspension bridges, including the Hillary Bridge. Enter Sagarmatha National Park and enjoy your first views of Mount Everest before reaching the lively Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar.
Day 3: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar
A rest day is essential to help your body adjust to the higher altitude. Take a short hike to the Everest View Hotel or nearby viewpoints for spectacular panoramas of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku.
Day 4: Namche Bazaar– Tengboche (3,855m) 5-6 hours.
Walk along scenic trails with breathtaking Himalayan views before descending to the Dudh Koshi River and climbing to Tengboche. Visit the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region.
Day 5: Tengboche – Dingboche (4,360m) 5-6 hours.
Descend through beautiful rhododendron forests, cross the Imja River, and continue through Pangboche, one of the oldest Sherpa villages in the region. The trail gradually climbs to Dingboche, offering incredible views of Ama Dablam and surrounding peaks.
Day 6: Acclimatization Day at Dingboche
Spend another acclimatization day to prepare for higher elevations. Take a short hike to Nagarjun Hill or another nearby viewpoint for stunning mountain views before returning to Dingboche for rest.
Day 7: Dingboche – Lobuche (4,930m) 5-6 hours.
Continue through alpine landscapes to Dughla before climbing to the Thukla Memorial, dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest. From there, trek across the glacial valley to Lobuche.
Day 8: Lobuche – Everest Base Camp (5,364m) – Gorak Shep (5,185m) 6-8 hours.
One of the highlights of the trek. Walk to Gorak Shep, continue across rocky glacier trails to Everest Base Camp, and enjoy unforgettable views of the Khumbu Icefall. After celebrating your achievement, return to Gorak Shep for the night.
Day 9: Kala Patthar – Pheriche (4,250m) 4-5 hours
Wake up early for a sunrise hike to Kala Patthar, the best viewpoint for panoramic views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, Pumori, and the surrounding Himalayan giants. Return to Gorak Shep for breakfast before descending to Pheriche.
Day 10: Pheriche – Namche Bazaar (3,440m) 6 hours.
Descend through Pangboche, Tengboche, and beautiful forests filled with rhododendron and pine trees before arriving back at Namche Bazaar.
Day 11: Namche Bazaar – Lukla
The final day follows the Sherpa villages, crossing suspension bridges and passing beautiful mountain scenery before arriving in Lukla. Celebrate your successful Everest Base Camp Trek with your guide.
