Discover the soul of Medellín in one unforgettable full day. From the moment we pick you up at your hotel in El Poblado or Laureles at 8:00 a.m., your bilingual guide will bring the city's history, resilience, and vibrant culture to life—all from the comfort of a modern, air-conditioned tour bus.
Our first stop is Botero Square, home to 23 iconic bronze sculptures by Colombia's most celebrated artist, Fernando Botero. Spend 45 minutes admiring these larger-than-life works in the heart of Medellín's historic downtown.
Next, we head to Comuna 13 – the site of one of the most remarkable urban transformation stories in the world. Spend approximately 2 hours exploring this vibrant neighborhood: ride the famous electric escalators, discover striking street art and murals, and experience an authentic live performance featuring traditional Colombian dance and trova music. And don't miss the local treat – a maracumango paleta, a delicious and iconic treat that originated right here on the streets of Comuna 13.
We then board Medellín's world-famous Metro and Metrocable—symbols of the city's social innovation and one of the most scenic rides in Latin America, offering breathtaking aerial views of the city and surrounding mountains.
A traditional Antioquian lunch follows at a local restaurant, with a souvenir shop right next door—the perfect opportunity to bring a piece of Medellín home.
We continue to Pueblito Paisa, a charming replica of a traditional Antioquian small town perched atop Nutibarra Hill, which offers panoramic views of the entire city.
Our final stop is Barefoot Park – a unique barefoot park in the heart of the city where you can unwind, walk across different textures, and soak up the modern spirit of Medellín.
