Barichara: Colored Earth Painting Workshop｜Colombia

Embark on a unique adventure where earth, creativity, and tradition come together to surprise you! This workshop invites you to explore and experiment in four moments full of excitement and learning. You'll start with a fascinating moment of play and discovery, where you'll get to know earth as an artistic material, appreciating the variety of tones from different municipalities in Santander, which create a palette of nine surprising colors. Then, you'll immerse yourself in the creative and design phase, letting your imagination run wild to create a unique design inspired by examples and models that will stimulate your inspiration. In the third stage, you'll learn how to transform earth into paint, mixing and preparing your own natural colors with simple and clear instructions. Finally, you'll bring your work to life by applying the paints to an altarpiece, seeing how your ideas become a true work of art, imbued with the magic of natural materials. We close this experience with moments of reflection, where you can appreciate what you've learned and the value of working in harmony with the earth.
