Liberdade, a place with a strong and very old history, once a military district, became 100 years ago the place of Japanese immigrants in the city of São Paulo.

Today a place of migrants from many places, China, Korea, Congo, Haiti, this neighborhood is a blast of cultures and diversity with a strong Afro-Brazilian heritage!

All of this diversity can be very well synthesized in its peculiar and differentiated cuisine.

Whilst in Liberdade, your guide will explain to you the history of the very prevalent Japanese influence on the area. After your snacks, you'll take a walk to spot places of architectural beauty and discover just what kind of people live in this area.
