Rio de Janeiro: Guided Surfing on the City's Best Sea Waves｜Brazil

Meet your instructor at Arpbar in Ipanema, at Arpoador Beach, and head to the beach together. Start with a 15- to 30-minute introduction on sea conditions, how the beach works, how the board works, and how to surf, so you have a good session and understand the ocean.

After the introduction, practice on the sand and then enter the water. With the instructor by your side, learn to stand up on the board and surf the wave. Spend about 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes in the water, with the instructor guiding you on which waves to catch and which to avoid.

Get help on every wave, with the instructor pushing you into the wave, watching and guiding you. Receive feedback after each wave. Paddle back out and listen to your instructor tell you what you can improve on the next wave. Evolve, improve, and gain confidence to keep practicing and getting better and better.
