After clearing immigration, meet your professional desert driver at the designated airport meeting point. Board a comfortable, air-conditioned 4×4 vehicle and travel south from Doha toward Qatar’s spectacular desert landscape.

Your first stop is a camel camp, where you can enjoy a short traditional camel ride and capture memorable photographs. Experience a glimpse of Qatar’s desert heritage before continuing toward the towering dunes.

Before entering the desert, your experienced driver will prepare the vehicle for off-road conditions. Then, hold on for an exciting dune-bashing adventure as the powerful 4×4 climbs, turns and descends across Qatar’s golden dunes. The nighttime setting brings a completely different atmosphere, with cooler temperatures, peaceful surroundings and a beautiful sky above the desert.

Stop at a scenic dune and try sandboarding. Your guide will provide the board and basic instructions, allowing you to slide down the soft sand at your own pace. Whether it is your first attempt or you have tried it before, sandboarding is an enjoyable activity and a great opportunity for photos.

Continue to Al Rahal, our private beach camp located where the desert meets the Arabian Gulf. Admission to the camp is included free of charge as part of your tour.

Relax beside the sea, walk along the private beach or enjoy a refreshing swim. Complimentary towels are provided, and guests have access to changing rooms and shower facilities. Free bottled water, tea and coffee are also available throughout your visit, allowing you to refresh and unwind before returning to the airport.

The peaceful beachfront setting offers a welcome contrast to the excitement of dune bashing. Sit beneath the night sky, listen to the waves and experience the calm beauty of Qatar’s southern coastline away from the city.

After your visit to Al Rahal Private Beach Camp, relax in the air-conditioned vehicle during the journey back to Hamad International Airport. The itinerary will be carefully managed to provide a suitable return buffer before your onward flight.
