Discover the splendid, pure, and wild nature of Black River Gorges National Park during this activity. The park is situated in the South West of the island and aims to protect and create awareness of the natural heritage of endemic flora and fauna in Mauritius. Out of the remaining forests of Mauritius, the park is the largest covering 3.5% of the total surface of the Island. It is the heart of Mauritius or rather its lungs.

An expert will ensure that guests make the most out of this trip with a half-day hike which is around 3-4 hours of hiking time with a medium difficulty level.

Enjoy beautiful panoramic views with changing micro-climates along the way. Hear the beautiful sounds of nature and birds like the Pink Pigeons, the Mauritian Kestrel, and Echo Parakeets. Rare endemic trees like the black ebony are found in the park. After being amazed by the magnificent views, get the chance to swim in a river before ending the trip.
