ข้อมูลสินค้า

Experience one of Quito’s most iconic high-altitude adventures on a private guided hike to the summit of Rucu Pichincha, a volcano rising above the city at approximately 4,696 meters.

Your day begins with pickup in Quito and a scenic ride to the Teleférico, where you will ascend by cable car to Cruz Loma, located at around 4,000 meters above sea level. From here, the city quickly disappears behind you as the trail opens into the Andean páramo, with wide views of Quito, surrounding valleys, and, on clear days, several of Ecuador’s volcanoes.

This is a private summit hike, designed for travelers who want more than a simple viewpoint visit. Accompanied by your bilingual mountain guide, you will follow a high-altitude trail toward the summit of Rucu Pichincha. The route includes open mountain landscapes, volcanic terrain, panoramic viewpoints, and some steeper sections as you approach the final part of the climb.

The pace is adjusted to your group, with time to rest, take photos, enjoy the views, and adapt to the altitude. Your guide will support you throughout the route and make safety-based decisions depending on weather, trail conditions, altitude response, and the group’s physical condition.

Reaching the summit offers one of the best mountain views near Quito. Standing above the city, you will feel the contrast between urban life and the wild Andes just a short distance away. This hike is also a great acclimatization experience for travelers preparing for higher peaks in Ecuador, such as Cotopaxi, Cayambe, or Chimborazo.

After enjoying the summit area and taking photos, you will descend by the same route back to Cruz Loma, return by Teleférico, and be driven back to your hotel or meeting point in Quito.

This experience is ideal for adventurous travelers looking for a private, scenic, and challenging mountain day close to the city, without requiring technical climbing equipment in normal conditions.
