Discover Al Madinah on a unique historical and cultural tour with a licensed tour guide. This 4-hour experience takes you through the city’s most famous Islamic and historical landmarks, where you will hear fascinating stories from the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) at the places where they happened.
Your journey begins with hotel pickup before heading to the Martyrs’ Area, where you will learn about the Battle of Uhud while visiting Archers’ Hill and the Martyrs of Uhud Cemetery. You will discover the lessons and historical importance of this famous battle. We then continue to Mahareez Mount Uhud, where traditional narrations mention that the Prophet (peace be upon him) washed after being injured during the battle.
Next, we visit Quba Mosque, the first mosque built in Islam. Here you will learn about its virtues, the Sunnah of visiting it, and its special place in Islamic history. We then continue to Bir Ghars, one of the historic wells from which the Prophet (peace be upon him) is reported to have drunk, while learning about its connection to the Prophet’s life.
After the historical visits, we enjoy a relaxing break at a beautiful traditional countryside farm surrounded by palm trees. Take time to relax, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and have Arabic coffee or tea with local sweets.
The tour then continues to Qiblatain Mosque, where the direction of prayer (Qibla) was changed during the Prophet’s time. After that, we visit the Seven Mosques, where you will learn about the Battle of the Trench and the important events that took place there.
Finally, we end our tour at Wadi Al-Aqiq, one of Al Madinah’s most famous valleys, known for its historical importance and beautiful natural scenery. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings, take memorable photos, and relax before we comfortably drive you back to your hotel.
