Day 1: Welcome to Rwanda – Kigali City Experience & Journey to Volcanoes

Your adventure begins with a warm welcome in Kigali, a city known for its cleanliness, safety, and inspiring story of resilience. Day 2: Conquer Mount Bisoke & Relax by Lake Kivu

Today is all about adventure and reward. Early in the morning, you’ll head to the foothills of Mount Bisoke for a guided hike through lush rainforest. As you ascend, the landscape changes dramatically, offering chances to spot unique plants, birds, and even wildlife along the way.
Reaching the summit is a moment of pure magic; a stunning crater lake awaits, surrounded by clouds and panoramic views that make every step worthwhile.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Encounter & Journey to Nyungwe Forest

Start your day with a unique and joyful experience; tracking the rare and playful golden monkeys. These energetic primates, found in the bamboo forests of Volcanoes National Park, offer a lively and intimate wildlife encounter that will leave you smiling. After this unforgettable trek, you’ll journey south towards Nyungwe Forest National Park. You’ll continue your journey to Lake Kivu in Kibuye. The drive itself is incredibly scenic, winding through hills and offering glimpses of one of Africa’s most beautiful lakes.
In the evening, unwind by the lakeshore, enjoy the calm atmosphere, and watch the sunset reflect over the water a perfect contrast to the morning’s adventure.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking, Canopy Walk & Return to Kigali

Your final day begins with an early morning trek into Nyungwe Forest in search of chimpanzees. Guided by experienced trackers, you’ll follow forest trails while listening for their calls echoing through the trees. Encountering these intelligent primates in their natural habitat is both thrilling and deeply moving.
Later, step into the treetops for the famous canopy walk, an exciting suspended bridge experience offering breathtaking views above the forest. It’s a unique perspective that allows you to truly appreciate the scale and beauty of Nyungwe.
After lunch, begin your return journey to Kigali, carrying unforgettable memories of Rwanda’s wildlife, landscapes, and warm hospitality. Your guide will drop you off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of a truly enriching and heartwarming safari.
