Nature Walking tour in Volcanoes National Park with Lunch｜Rwanda

Your day tour begins at 4:30am with an early morning pick-up from Kigali, followed by a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park in the Northern Province of Rwanda. the drive takes about 2.5 hours, Along the way, you’ll enjoy beautiful countryside views of rolling hills, local villages, and terraced farmland that give Rwanda its nickname, the “Land of a Thousand Hills.” Upon arrival at the park Office, you will be warmly welcomed and briefed by the park guide who will guide you throughout the experience.

After the briefing, proceed to the starting point and set off on a peaceful nature walking tour through the park’s lush montane forest. The walk is done at a relaxed place, allowing you to fully enjoy the fresh mountain air and the tranquil environment. As you follow the forest trails, you’ll encounter diverse plant species, towering bamboo forest, and possibly spot birds and other small wildlife along the way. Your guide will share fascinating information about the park’s ecosystem, conservation efforts, and its importance as a habitat for rare species.

Throughout the walk, you’ll also be rewarded with stunning views of the volcanoes, creating a dramatic and memorable backdrop. After completing your Nature walk, you’ll return to the starting point and have enroute lunch in one of the Local Restaurants before Returning back to Kigali for your Flight/Hotel.
