Historical and Cultural Tour of Pape'ete and Tahiti｜France

Starting from your accommodation, in the area from Mahina to Paea, or directly at the Tahiti Tourisme office in Pape'ete, your live guide will take you around the city, then to a part of the east coast or the west coast.
Depending on our departure, you will be offered the opportunity to discover the city of Pape'ete by taking a tour around the town center. This route will allow you to enjoy a narrated tour of the city's various neighborhoods, passing by the waterfront with Place Va'i 'ete and the Uranie Cemetery at the western entry. Then we will discover the former heart of the French colony, where the Pape'ete River flows, and the Archbishopric district at the entrance to the Tepava Valley.
We will continue to the Taunoa area, where the old sugarcane and cotton fields were located, and finish around the Fare Ute and Motu Uta area, where the heart of the local economy and the islands is located: the Autonomous Harbor of Pape'ete. During this visit to the city, we will make one or two stops according to your wishes.
Once this city tour is complete, we will head for the East Coast or the West Coast. At this point, we will have already spent a good part of the time we will share together.
On the East Coast, we will focus on stories related to the various European colonizations and the Royal Pomare family. You can choose sites such as Pointe Venus and the Tahara'a Vantage Point, but also a little-known vantage point and off-the-beaten-track locations.
On the West Coast, we will explore the Polynesian culture of our ancestors before the arrival of Westerners. We will visit religious and archaeological sites that will immerse you in the mystical atmosphere of life in bygone times.
The tour will end very quickly, and your live guide can take you back to your accommodation at a leisurely pace, or to a point of your choice within the defined area.
