Begin your tour by meeting your guide and getting fitted with your bike. Then, set off on a scenic ride through the historic streets of Casco Viejo. Stop at the San Felipe Neri Market to sample 9 natural juices, orchid honey, and Geisha coffee.
Next, head to the Fish Market to try 3 types of ceviche, including a creative honey mustard version. Continue your ride along the coast, taking in views of the city skyline.
End your tour with a drone video of your ride and complimentary access to a local gastronomy magazine. You’ll also receive free tasting coupons at select Casco Antiguo restaurants.
Itinerary (4 hours)

Our meeting point. We gather at the hostel reception, where we hand out the audio radio system to each guest, and then take the bikes over to Plaza de Santa Ana.
2. Plaza de Santa Ana (20 min)
We test the bikes and make sure everyone feels comfortable and confident riding. Here we introduce the route and the neighborhoods we'll explore together.
3. The Flat Arch of Casco Viejo (20 min)
We ride to the Arco Chato, the famous flat arch of Casco Antiguo, and share its surprising connection to the story of the Panama Canal.
4. Plaza de Francia (15 min)
From the old city walls, take in one of the best views of the Casco Antiguo peninsula, in one of its most beautiful plazas.
5. Plaza Carlos V (20 min)
We stop to talk with Guna artisans and discover the story behind the mola, their vibrant traditional textile art.
6. Plaza de la Catedral (15 min)
The story of Panama's independence from Spain in 1821 and its separation from Colombia in 1903, with a view of the Metropolitan Cathedral. Before leaving the old city, we share our favorite local food recommendations.

How Casco Antiguo has transformed since the 1990s, and the real conversation about gentrification and the families who have always called this area home.
8. Plaza Amador (20 min)

9. Mercado San Felipe Neri (70 min)
The heart of the tour: tasting Panamanian flavors like Geisha coffee, tropical fruits, fresh natural juices, local hot sauces and, depending on the day, traditional empanadas.
10. Mercado de Mariscos (25 min)
We walk through the fish market, learn about the local seafood, and taste fresh ceviche.
11. Cinta Costera (5 min)
A scenic ride along the Cinta Costera waterfront, with views of the bay and the financial district skyline, before we return to the hostel.
