Day 1: Departure from Nouakchott on the road to Akjoujt, picnic en route, you will discover a diversity of landscapes between dunes and plains before reaching Amatlich, famous stage of the Paris-Dakar, where you will enjoy a fabulous landscape. Bivouac at the great Azweiga dunes.
Day 2: A beautiful day in the heart of the desert. You drive through magnificent villages and oases, meeting nomads, passing through the beautiful descent of Tifujar, a beautiful view of the White Valley, visit the magical Terjit spring located in a breathtaking canyon. Visit to the immense Maïreth palm grove, one of the largest in the Adrar region - picnic lunch, then departure for Chinguitti, a historic town famous for its library. Sunset over the dunes. Overnight at the inn.
Day 3: Visit to the town of Chinguetti and its precious library containing ancient manuscripts. Chinguetti was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. Depart on the sandy track to reach the Tenouchert palm groves, an oasis lost in the desert, much of it buried under the dunes. Then you'll discover the formidable old town of Ouadane, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It remains a city steeped in history. Overnight at the inn.
Day 4: Visit to Richat, nicknamed "the eye of Africa" or traditionally Guelb er Richât, a geological structure located in the Sahara near Ouadane, then we'll take the Adrar plateau track to reach the Amagjar canyon, with panoramic views over the Amagjar pass, and a visit to the Agrour paintings. We reach the town of Atar and its Azougui site. Overnight at the inn.
Day 5: Return to Nouakchott, via the Seguelil barage, to visit the camel market and its fishing port.
