Livadica Glacial Lake Hike – High Scardus Trail Section｜Kosovo

Begin your adventure at the ski lift and start your hike up the Sharr Mountains. The trail is open and steep right from the first step, with no warm-up through the forest. Continue up through alpine pasture, steady and sustained, with the Sharr ridgeline in view the whole way.

Reach Livadhi Glacial Lake, one of the deepest glacial lakes in Kosovo, framed by the peaks of Livadh and Luboten. Take in the views of the lake, sitting at 2,173 meters in the Sharr Mountains, and enjoy a steady, non-technical climb with a clear payoff at the top.
