6:30 AM – Immediate boarding. A warm welcome at the Diégo-Suarez wharf. You board our traditional boat. Safety briefing by your local certified guide over a welcome coffee.
7:00 AM – Heading for Sugarloaf Mountain. Set sail and navigate the emerald waters of the second-largest bay in the world. Pass close to the mythical volcanic islet "Nosy Lonjo", the bay's sacred sentinel.
10:30 AM – Exploration of the colonial ruins. Historic stop on the Cap Diego Peninsula. Accessible guided hiking tour to explore the old bunkers, cannons, and forgotten underground tunnels of the French army.
12:30 PM – BBQ lunch on the beach. Anchorage on a secluded white-sand beach. While you swim, our crew prepares a feast: fresh grilled fish, coconut rice, and seasonal tropical fruits.
2:30 PM – Snorkeling and relaxing. Snorkel in the preserved coral reefs in search of tropical fish, or take a nap in the shade of the casuarina trees facing the lagoon.
4:00 PM – Sunset drop-off. Return cruise to the Port of Diégo. The golden lights of the late afternoon set Montagne des Français ablaze, offering a memorable show to end the day trip.
