From Riga, travel to Sigulda and spend the day exploring the park’s most beautiful scenery and historic legacy on foot.

Hike through ancient forests and admire 300 million years' old sandstone cliffs along the banks of the Gauja River Valley while enjoying a selection of carefully chosen trails totalling around 8 km. During the hike you’ll also discover quieter viewpoints and hidden corners that many visitors never experience.

Along the way, visit the area’s iconic landmarks, including Sigulda, Krimulda and Turaida, where medieval castles and centuries of history blend with breathtaking natural scenery.

Throughout the day, your expert local guide brings the landscape to life through engaging stories about Latvia’s nature, wildlife, history and traditions, creating a relaxed experience that naturally adapts to the group and the day’s conditions.

After a full day exploring Latvia’s most famous national park, return comfortably to Riga.
