Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel or the main square in Samaipata. Enjoy a scenic drive to the trailhead, where your hike begins.

Start with an easy trail that leads to a resting point with stunning views of the mountains. As you continue, the hike becomes steeper and more demanding, but the reward is worth it if you booked the full-day or sunrise tour.

Reach the top and be greeted with breathtaking views of “El Codo de los Andes,” where the Andes Mountains change direction, dividing the tropical Amazon basin forests from the dry Chaco lowlands.

Take photos and explore the mountain tops. If you're lucky, you might spot condors, hummingbirds, and parrots.

Choose between a half-day or full-day tour or the sunrise tour.

On the half-day tour, you will return to the car after reaching the first viewpoint.

On the full-day or sunrise tour, you will walk all the way to the last viewpoint for even more spectacular views.
