Sarajevo: Traditional Bosnian Cooking Class with a local｜Bosnia and Herzegovina

Join a small group in a cozy local setting and learn how to make klepe, traditional Bosnian handmade dumplings, together with a local cook.

Alongside our local cook, your host is an official Sarajevo tourist guide, ready to share stories, local traditions, and insights into everyday life in the city throughout the experience.

Prepare the dough from scratch, roll it out, add your filling and learn how to shape each klepa by hand. Choose the traditional meat filling or our vegetarian version with spinach and cheese.

While you cook, you'll hear about local food traditions, family recipes and everyday life in Sarajevo.

Once the klepe are ready, sit down around the table and enjoy the meal you've prepared together, accompanied by local wine and rakija (or eat on the balcony) . And because no Bosnian table should end too quickly, we'll finish with traditional homemade dessert.

This is a relaxed, hands-on experience rather than a formal cooking lesson: a chance to cook, eat, talk and spend a couple of hours with locals.

No previous cooking experience is needed. Just come hungry.
