C) What to expect
1)Meet your guide at 9:00 AM at the entrance of the Lama Temple and begin the day with a guided visit through one of Beijing’s most important Tibetan Buddhist sites. Walk along the central axis, pass through the main halls, and take in gilded statues, painted details, and ritual spaces that introduce the visual world of Tibetan Buddhism in the capital.
2)After the temple visit, continue on foot along Guozijian Street, where old Beijing street scenery adds another cultural layer to the route. From there, transfer to Tibet Hotel for the second half of the experience.
3)The afternoon shifts from observation to participation. Start with a Tibetan lunch, then try on traditional Tibetan clothing and explore the cultural corridor at your own pace. Later, join a Tibetan incense-making workshop led by a Tibetan teacher, where you will learn the basic process and shape your own incense by hand using the prepared materials.
4)To close the day, sit down for Tibetan afternoon tea with sweet tea and snacks while listening to cultural stories connected to everyday life and exchange routes. 5)The tour ends at 5:00 PM outside Tibet Hotel.
D) Important notes
Trip details will be sent 24 hours before departure. Lunch is a fixed set menu, with a vegetarian option available. The Tibetan dress experience includes clothing only.
E) Summary
This experience connects Beijing sightseeing with active cultural participation in a more layered way. It is a strong fit for travelers who want to spend one day seeing, tasting, wearing, and making something meaningful.
