Discover the dark times of the Middle Ages, experience the vigor of the Renaissance and the grandeur of the Baroque. You can explore the backgrounds of the Peaceful Revolution of 1989, and hear what it must have felt like to the people of former East and West Germany.

This walking tour through the historic old town starts at Neumarkt. From here you will see Dresden's most famous attractions, including Frauenkirche, Semperoper and the Baroque Zwinger. From Dresden Castle, head to Brühl's Terrace, the Procession of Princes and and Stallhof, until you arrive at Dresden Cathedral. Next, follow your guide to Taschenbergpalais and Augustus Bridge, before concluding your walking tour near Frauenkirche.
