"In the footsteps of Freddie Mercury" City tour in Montreux

From the meeting point, your guide will start the special city tour with you and other participants. You will walk about one kilometer along the shores of Lake Geneva. The music history of Montreux, especially during the 1970s and 1980s, will be shared with you along the way.

You will hear authentic anecdotes and stories about Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of the band Queen. He lived in Montreux for several years. His personal assistant for over 12 years, Peter Freestone, narrates in the audio guide (in English). Your guide has been in close contact with him for 20 years.

Your guide is also the president of the Montreux Celebration, which organizes several days each year in honor of Freddie Mercury. The endpoint of the walk is the famous Freddie Mercury statue by the lakeshore.
