ð·Hunter Valley
The Hunter Valley is home to some of the world's best wines, with grapes grown in fertile soil.
The Hunter Valley, which has been producing wine since the 1820s, has over 120 wineries, making it an area filled with famous wines and modern, stylish saladries.
The Hunter Valley also produces some of Australia's most distinctive wines, the most famous of which is Hunter Valley Semillon. The reason it is famous is because Hunter Valley is the only wine in the world that produces wine using 100% Semillon.
The acidity of Semillon is so low that when wine is made with a single variety, the flavor deteriorates, so even in Bordeaux, France, when making wine with Semillon, it is made by blending Sauvignon Blanc or Muscadelle.

ðū Guide to the TOP 3 must-visit wineries in the Hunter Valley
Audrey Wilkinson Winery is a winery located at the foot of the Brokenback Mountains and has a history of over 150 years. Above all, the scenery seen from the winery is very beautiful. It is a family-run winery that makes you feel like you have been invited to a friend's house. You can enjoy wine tasting in the salad room or have a picnic in the vineyard.
It is a historic winery that has been passed down through the McGuigan family for four generations, and is Australia's leading wine family, as evidenced by its various awards, including being selected as 'IWSC Winery of the Year' four times for the first time in Australian wine history. McGuigan wine is also imported to Korea, so you can find it at wine shops and restaurants.
A premium winery representing Australia, Graveyard Beard Shiraz and ILR Reserve Semillon have already won several awards among Brokenwood wines. Wines such as Cricket Pitch Range are famous. Brookenwood wines can be purchased in Korea as well, so I recommend them to those who want to taste Australian wines in advance.
