We booked a 16-seater van for a group of 8 pax (with luggage) from Mai Chau to Hanoi, more than 1 week in advance. KKDay confirmed our reservation upon booking, and gave no further update after. On the morning of our transfer, the transport company texted me to say that they had only just received our booking, and that there were no available vans due to the short notice. In the end, we were offered 1 SUV and 1 Sedan car to take all of us back to Hanoi. However, we had to top up additional VND800,000 for the second driver, even though this mix-up was through no fault of ours. I do not know where the miscommunication had occurred, but in any case, it was handled badly.
