Genghis Khan Statue/Terelj Park nomadic family visit｜Mongolia

Guided tour to Terelj National Park and the Statue of Chinggis Khan to learn all about the rich history of Mongolia. You’ll be collected from your hotel or other accommodation in Ulaanbaatar for ease.
09:00 am will be the pick-up time
Firstly, we will drive for an hour and a half to reach the Genghis Khan Statue.
We will tour the place for around 2 hours. This is the best place for pictures.
Next, we will continue our trip to Terelj National Park, which is about a 45-minute drive from the statue. This national park has one of the best natural landscapes around Ulaanbaatar. Its uniquely shaped rock formations look amazing, surrounded by green pine forest.
In Terelj National Park, we will visit the following
- Turtle Rock (naturally turtle-shaped giant rock)
- Aryapal Meditation Temple (temple located on the side of a big mountain). You will need to do some hiking to reach the temple. At the top, you will have a panoramic view of the valley.
Lastly, we will visit a local nomadic family in Terelj. The family will invite you into their ger (yurt). They will serve us authentic Mongolian food for lunch.
You are encouraged to ask about nomadic Mongolian culture from your guide.
The drive back to Ulaanbaatar will be around an hour and a half.
