Product Info

Day 1: Journey to Ogii Lake
Depart from Ulaanbaatar in the morning 08.00a.m and drive toward Ogii Lake, a beautiful lake in Arkhangai Province. On the way, stop to visit the ruins of Khairkhan Bukh Fortress and enjoy the peaceful scenery.
Transfer to Kharkhorin town for an overnight stay in a hostel with a shower, electricity, and dinner. The total drive is 7 hours and 400 km.
Day 2: Visit Orkhon Volcanic Valley and Waterfall
Visit Orkhon Volcanic Valley and Orkhon Waterfall. It is a 3-hour drive from Kharkhorin. Ride a horse in the Orkhon Valley. Drive back to Kharkhorin and stay at the same hostel. Lunch is outdoors.
Day 3: Explore Kharkhorin and Relax at Tsenkher Hot Springs (outdoor)
In the morning, explore Kharkhorin (Karakorum) – the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire – and visit Erdene Zuu Monastery, one of Mongolia’s oldest Buddhist sites. After lunch, drive to the Tsenkher Hot Springs in Arkhangai Province. Enjoy bathing (outdoor) in the natural hot springs surrounded by hills. Overnight stay at a local guesthouse near the springs.
Day 4: Elsen Tasarkhai Sand Dunes and Camel Riding
After breakfast, return toward Kharkhorin for lunch, then continue to the Elsen Tasarkhai sand dunes, a unique area where desert, steppe, and mountain landscapes meet. Enjoy a camel riding experience and visit a nomadic herder family, where you will stay overnight in a traditional ger (yurt). No electricity and no shower.
Day 5:
After breakfast, drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Before drop-off, we can visit the Gobi Cashmere shop and State Department Store.
