Day 1: Ulaanbaatar – Hustai National Park – Elsen Tasarhai
Be picked up from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar and begin your journey westward. Day 2: Elsen Tasarhai – Tuvkhun Monastery – Orkhon Valley
After breakfast, drive through scenic mountain roads to reach the remote Tuvkhun Monastery, located atop a forested mountain. This 17th-century monastery is not only spiritually significant but also offers stunning panoramic views.

In the afternoon, descend into the UNESCO-listed Orkhon Valley, where you’ll meet a local nomadic horseman family who will host you for the next few days.

Days 3–6: Horse Trekking Adventure to the Eight Lakes Region
Begin your 4-day horse trekking expedition through one of Mongolia's most untouched regions—the stunning Eight Lakes (Naiman Nuur) area, nestled in the Khangai Mountains.

Ride through forested hills, volcanic landscapes, and remote valleys, camping in pristine natural settings far from civilization. This immersive experience lets you connect with Mongolia’s vast wilderness and traditional nomadic life.

Day 6: Return from the trek and stay at a tourist ger camp (with hot shower)

Day 7: Orkhon Valley – Kharkhorin (Karakorum)
Drive to the historic town of Kharkhorin, the ancient capital of the Mongol Empire. Visit the Erdene Zuu Monastery, Mongolia’s oldest Buddhist monastery, built in 1586, and explore the Kharkhorin Museum, which offers deep insight into Mongolian history and Genghis Khan’s legacy.

In the evening, enjoy a traditional Mongolian mini concert featuring throat singing, horsehead fiddle (morin khuur), and traditional dance.

Day 8: Kharkhorin – Khugnu Khan National Park – Ulaanbaatar
On your final day, visit the stunning Khugnu Khan National Park, often referred to as "Mini Gobi." Here, you can ride camels across the sand dunes, hike rocky hills, and take unforgettable photos in this diverse landscape of mountains, steppe, and desert.

After lunch, return to Ulaanbaatar and be dropped off at your hotel.
