Product Info

  • What makes Mona Yongpyong Resort special?

Nestled in the winter wonderland of PyeongChang, Mona Yongpyong Resort stands as South Korea’s largest and most famous premier ski destination. Renowned as a host venue for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, this iconic mountain resort receives an impressive average annual snowfall of 250 centimeters, creating powder conditions across 28 diverse slopes. Beyond its alpine terrain, the resort features Dragon Plaza—Korea's largest ski complex—and the Mt. Balwangsan Cable Car. Combining Olympic-grade ski runs, snow landscapes, and resort amenities, Mona Yongpyong offers a quintessential Korean winter day trip.

  • What can you experience with the Mona Yongpyong Day Trip Ski Package?

- PyeongChang Powder Slopes: Carve through fresh snow across 28 varied slopes, ranging from gentle beginner runs to thrilling Olympic downhill trails.

- Mt. Balwangsan Cable Car & Skywalk: Soar along Korea’s longest 7.4-kilometer round-trip gondola ride to the 1,458-meter summit of Mt. Balwangsan, where you can walk out onto the glass-floored Skywalk for panoramic alpine views.

- Beginner-Friendly Ski Lessons: Learn fundamental ski techniques, balance, and stopping controls with professional instruction in dedicated safety zones.

- Full Equipment & Gear Rentals: Enjoy a hassle-free morning with quality skis, boots, poles, and outerwear ready upon arrival at Dragon Plaza.

- Direct Round-Trip Transport: Relax on a comfortable express shuttle bus operating directly between central Seoul and the resort, eliminating transfer stress.

  • Should you choose the Beginner Ski Package or the Sightseeing Gondola Pass?

If you are eager to try skiing or hit the slopes without worrying about logistics, the Beginner Ski Package with Lessons and Equipment is your best choice. It provides everything required for an enjoyable day on the snow, including shuttle transportation, lift pass, gear rentals, and expert instruction. Alternatively, if you prefer a leisure winter escape without skiing, select the Sightseeing Gondola Pass. This option allows non-skiers, families, and photography lovers to ride up Mt. Balwangsan, admire snow-dusted peak vistas from the Skywalk, and stroll along summit trails.
