Accessible without a live guide, this route, punctuated by easy-to-navigate whitewater, will appeal to both adults and young people in search of gentle thrills and magnificent scenery.

Embark on about 4 to 6 hours of independent descent, at your own pace, on a spectacular section of the river. Between valleys of clay and sand, forests and natural beaches, let the current carry you and discover a wild and preserved nature that is unique to Charlevoix. Along the river, you will also pass through a more rural area and the charming village of Baie-Saint-Paul, adding a picturesque touch to your adventure.

Your experience is facilitated by a rental service supported by a shuttle: you are taken to the departure point, and each descent is made safe by the presence of a kayak patrol. You can choose between single or double recreational kayaks, and a waterproof bag is provided to protect your personal belongings.

We recommend that you bring your lunch to take full advantage of the many beaches accessible along the way—perfect stops for a picnic by the water. To maximize your comfort, neoprene booties and wetsuits are also available for rental. Wearing closed-toe shoes or securely fastened sandals is mandatory for your safety.
