Product Info

-What you can expect-
When in Vegas, you really shouldn't miss a visit to the Grand Canyon West Rim and Grand Canyon Skywalk! This action-packed day tour will take you from Las Vegas to check out these fascinating attractions.

During this tour, you will take a Hualapai transport shuttle up to the first viewpoint known as Eagle Point and explore the famous Grand Canyon Skywalk, a horseshoe-shaped glass walkway that sits 4000 ft above the canyon floor and boasts spectacular one-of-a-kind views of the West Rim of the canyon. The unique design of this bridge will leave you feeling weightless as you “float” with this 360-degree view.

After enjoying the skywalk, there will be time to visit the small Native American Indian village of the Hualapai tribe and enjoy a delicious lunch (included in your tour package) at the air-conditioned Skywalk Café.

After Eagle Point, the tour will continue up to Guano Point for some more magnificent views. Its unique topography has landed this spot in Hollywood movies for decades. Spend your time taking in the views or enjoy hiking one of the many trails in the area. One such trail will lead to the remnants of a historic tram site that used to ferry miners 8,800 ft across the chasm to the bat guano mines.

After exploring the area, you will visit the native Hualapai market to shop handmade arts and crafts. Afterward, you'll head back for an early evening arrival in Las Vegas.

The South Rim, part of Grand Canyon National Park, is famed for its classic, vast panoramic vistas and extensive hiking trails, offering a more traditional national park experience. The West Rim provides a quicker, often more thrill-oriented visit with specific viewpoints like Eagle Point and Guano Point.

2. What are the current operating hours for the Grand Canyon West Rim attractions?

The Grand Canyon West Rim is generally open year-round, typically from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, though hours can vary seasonally and by specific attraction within the Rim, such as the Skywalk. It's advisable to check the official Grand Canyon West website for the most current operating schedule before planning your visit, especially for holiday periods or unexpected changes.

3. Are there any free access options or specific fees for visiting the Grand Canyon West Rim?

Visiting the Grand Canyon West Rim requires purchasing an entry package, often referred to as the Hualapai Legacy Pass, as it is located on Hualapai tribal land and not part of the National Park System.
