Tackle the powerful white waters of the Sunwapta River and test yourself by rafting through consistent Class II and III rapids! Don't forget to look up and enjoy the amazing views of the Endless Chain mountain range!

You'll board the Sunwapta and begin your experience by learning to float and getting some paddle practice.

Next you'll begin your first descent and face the rapids, which will increase more and more until the Whopper dunks everyone just before take-out.

Reminders

  • Please refer to your voucher for final information regarding meeting points, pick-up locations, and pick-up time

  • Meeting point description: Please meet 15 minutes prior to the trip time at the Highway 93 rest stop located 300m south of the Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge. There is a recently constructed shed right at the entrance to this rest area. Please note that the meeting point is 45 minute drive from Jasper and guests should depart from Jasper an hour before the start time.(Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge, Alberta 93, Jasper, AB, Canada)

  • Wear a swimsuit, t-shirt and shorts or clothing you don’t mind getting wet

  • Bring a towel and dry clothing for the end of the tripRaft at your own risk

  • White water rafting includes an element of risk and all participants must sign a waiver

  • Note: This is not the parking lot for the Sunwapta Falls. Also note: If you arrive on time, there is a good chance the bus will not be there yet
