As this is an outdoor activity tours will usually go-ahead rain or shine. However, tours may not go ahead in strong winds or significant rainfall. In these circumstances, we endeavour to accommodate our guests by way of providing instead a tour of the Connemara region by vehicle with the option for a walk or hike depending on the weather conditions.

A 3.7km well maintained stone and gravel path with boardwalks leads to the summit of Diamond Hill at 442m. Most of the hike is easy to moderate with the last upper section more strenuous. There are 3 shorter and easier walking options also at lower level.
