Product Info

— What You Can Expect —

The Nagaoka Fireworks Festival (長岡まつり大花火大会) is one of Japan’s Three Great Fireworks Festivals, drawing spectators from across the globe to the banks of the Shinano River in Niigata Prefecture. Nagaoka’s fireworks display originated as a solemn memorial for war reconstruction and a prayer for lasting peace, lighting the night sky with blessings and well-wishes. The event is renowned for its sheer scale, featuring the legendary "Phoenix" shell, which launches from multiple points along the river simultaneously to the stirring melody of Ayaka Hirahara's Jupiter, creating a horizon-spanning wall of golden light. Another signature marvel is the "Shosanshakudama shell", a massive firework that explodes into a giant floral wheel measuring roughly 650 meters in diameter. The booming resonance vibrating through your chest and the brilliant light illuminating the night create an unparalleled, immersive spectacle that videos simply cannot capture.
