It is a private & personalized experience just for you! We try to be attentive to our guests’ reactions, emotions & preferences to make the experience unforgettable for all of us!!! You will visit two legendary UNESCO locations from Ancient Greece during this 2-day tour. Delphi & Meteora.
The way we operate this tour, you will probably visit Meteora twice. Both in the late afternoon of Day 1 and the next morning (Day 2) with different lighting conditions for the best possible experience of this amazing location. But you will need to follow your tour leader's plan to succeed in this complimentary treat.
Food and drinks are a big part of our tours and the places we choose are very unique and authentic and are also where the locals eat!
Your driver is also your tour leader. Expect full communication from him at all times with information about your destinations and also information about Greece!
Day 1: You will begin the drive towards the northwest area of Athens, where you will arrive at the archaeological site of Delphi in 2+ hours without any unnecessary touristy stops (we highly discourage this!). A quick stop at the scenic Arachova village which is the dominant location at the top of Mt Parnassus (a ski center location) just before Delphi. At Delphi, you will explore the classical treasures, theater, museum, and ancient ruins.
Next, head towards the scenic Amphissa mountain town. After an “important” lunch stop halfway -treat of your tour leader- arrive at your hotel. Should we arrive at Meteora in good time (our aim and plan), and before checking in to your hotel, we can visit the famous Meteora Rocks for a complimentary evening photo shoot with the late afternoon light.

Day 2: Enjoy breakfast in your hotel, and then a swift drive to Meteora, your main destination of the day! This UNESCO World Heritage site was home to more than 20 rock monasteries. Visit two (maybe 3) of the incredible monasteries depending on your energy and available time. Originally occupied by 11th-century hermits, the monasteries became hiding places for monks when the Roman Empire started falling. The two monasteries you may visit are subject to change depending on the day of the visit since most monasteries have different opening days and times. Typically, the monasteries to be visited include the Grand Meteora Monastery and Moni Agiou Stefanou or Moni Varlaam or Holy Trinity.
After exploring Meteora, return to your private vehicle for your trip back to Athens which takes around 3.5 hours with the necessary stops to stretch your legs.
Halfway, a stop to see Thermopylae; the historical battlefield between the Spartans (300) & the Persians. Soon after, a more relaxed stop to enjoy a great lunch & drinks by the water before continuing the journey south to be dropped off directly at your Athens hotel.
