Purchase Notice
- The name on the Swiss Travel Pass must match the name on the passport
- Children aged 5 and under receive free admission but must not occupy a seat and must be accompanied by a parent. Proof of age (e.g.: passport) is required
- Children aged 6 to 15 can travel for free with the Swiss Family Card when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Please carry the passport with you. Swiss Family Card will be applied automatically when booking if the eligibility is met and the child will receive the Swiss Family Card voucher for free boarding

How to Use
— Seat Reservation —
- Regional trails: All seats are non-reserved, no need to make a reservation
- Reservations are required for high-speed trains, panorama trains, sleeper trains and other applicable trains. Travellers may make reservations up to 3 months in advance
- Please use the Rail Planner app to find details on reservations. Tap "More" (at the lower right corner) and select "Rail Network Guides"
- To make a seat reservation, visit a Swiss train station ticket counter and pay the handling fees
— Swiss Travel Pass Activation —
- A PDF document will be attached to your Consecutive Days package voucher. Print out the PDF (A4 paper) and carry it with you at all times as your ticket, manual activation not required
- The PDF document attached to a Non-Consecutive Days package is NOT the ticket. Redeem your ticket by:
1. Enter the Reference No., First Name, Last Name, and Birthdate on this website
2. Select your preferred date of use. With every date selected, you will receive a corresponding ticket file. Print out the files (A4 paper) and carry them with you at all times
— Cancellation —
- Free cancellation is available up until 3 days before the first date of use
- Refund is not possible for passes already used
