【Attraction Introduction】
Mount Putuo is one of the four sacred Buddhist mountains in China, a famous Guanyin pilgrimage site, and one of the first national key scenic spots announced by the State Council. It is known as the 'Buddhist Kingdom in the Sea and Sky' and the 'Holy Land of the South Sea'. There are more than 40 temples open on the mountain, the largest of which are Puji Temple, Fayu Temple, Huiji Temple, and Baotuo Jiangsi Temple. The largest landmark is the 33-meter-tall Nanhai Guanyin Buddha statue. Mount Putuo is surrounded by the sea on all sides and is known as the 'First Pure Land on Earth'. This package is a private charter car service from Shanghai to Mount Putuo, allowing you ample time to browse the beautiful scenery of Mount Putuo.
 
【Itinerary Introduction】
Depart from your Shanghai hotel by private charter car to Zhujiajian Wharf in Zhoushan City. (Approx. 4 hours one way)
After arrival, visitors can take a boat to Mount Putuo's Xitian Scenic Area—Guanyin Ancient Cave—Two Turtles Listening to the Dharma Stone—Lingshi Nunnery—Pantuoshi Rock—Meifu Nunnery—Heart Rock. After finishing, head to the largest temple—Puji Zen Temple. After praying and paying respects, take a bus to the Foding Mountain cable car station, take the cable car up to—Foding Mountain—Huiji Temple (in the afternoon, visit the Wealth Cave and Fanyin Cave on your own). After finishing, descend the mountain and return to the hotel for dining and rest.
Day 2: Visitors can go on their own to the second largest temple on the 'Buddhist Kingdom in the Sea and Sky' cliff—Fayu Temple—after coming out, head to the 33-meter Guanyin bronze statue—Nanhai Guanyin, then go to the Purple Bamboo Grove, the Bukenqu Guanyin Monastery, and in the afternoon, head to Luojia Mountain for worship and sightseeing.

The ancient buildings on the central axis of Puji Temple are the Imperial Stele Hall, the Heavenly King Hall, the Yuantong Hall, and the Sutra Library. Puji Temple is one of the three major temples of Mount Putuo. Its overall layout uses both the traditional central axis method and makes full use of the terrain to arrange individual buildings. It is a collection of Qing Dynasty architectural achievements and a typical representative of official Qing Dynasty architecture in Zhejiang.

When people visit Mount Putuo to pay their respects, they love to visit the Heart Rock, either walking around it while touching it or sitting in the middle of the 'Heart' character to take photos as a symbol of their sincerity toward the Buddha or human friendship.
