— What You Can Expect —
Departing Edinburgh at 8:45 am, the journey leads through Stirling, where the tale of Sir William Wallace, the real Braveheart, unfolds. Scotland’s scenic beauty unfolds as the tour continues through Strathallan, arriving at Crieff, home to Scotland’s oldest whisky distillery. The distillery tour offers insights into the process and a chance to sample the “water of life”. A woodland walk in Dunkeld and a brief stop at the Kelpies follow, before returning to Edinburgh around 5:30 pm.
Upon returning to Edinburgh, tour participants will independently proceed to Edinburgh Castle, where doors to the Military Tattoo event open around 8:00 pm. At this point, participants will not have a guide and are responsible for timely arrival at Edinburgh Castle for the event.
