Starting from 1st September 2017, the Malaysian Tourism Tax (TTX) will be implemented by the Tourism and Culture Ministry of Malaysia. Foreign tourists will be charged a flat rate of MYR10 per room per night, regardless of the accommodation's star level. The TTx is to be settled upon check-in. However, Malaysians or permanent residents residing in Malaysia are exempted from the TTx and must present a valid identification during check-in to claim the exemption
An additional charge of MYR30 nett per person per way applies for transportation to/from locations outside Kota Kinabalu city (e.g., Beringgis Beach Resort, Langkah Syabas Beach Resort, Papar, Kinarut Area)

It is mandatory for climbers to attend the Via Ferrata briefing/training session in Pendant Hut between 3:00-4:00 pm on the first day of the climb
On the second day of the climb, climbers must descend and arrive at the starting point by 6:30 am (for LPC) or 7:15 am (for WTT)
Via Ferrata activities will be conducted in mixed groups by qualified Mountain Torq Ferrata trainers
If climbers fail to comply with the stated timings, they will not be allowed to proceed with the chosen Via Ferrata activity, and no reimbursement will be given
The Via Ferrata activity may be canceled due to bad weather for the safety of all climbers. No reimbursement will be made in such cases
We urge all climbers to prioritize safety above all else. In the event the Via Ferrata activity is missed or cancelled, you can still reach the Low’s Peak summit
After descending to Kinabalu Park HQ, climbers will be picked up at their designated times. The last transport to Kota Kinabalu city departs at 7:30 pm. We strive to keep your wait at Park HQ to a maximum of 2 hours. If you miss the last transport or prefer a different time, a private transfer can be arranged (subject to availability, with a surcharge borne by you)
Prior medical check-ups are recommended for all climbers before attempting any mountain ascent. Climbers with a history of the following ailments are highly advised to refrain from climbing: Hypertension, Diabetes, Palpitation, Arthritis, Heart disease, severe anemia, Peptic ulcers, Epileptic fits, Obesity (overweight), Chronic asthma, Muscular cramps, Hepatitis (jaundice), or any other condition that may hinder the climber
