[Day 2]: Bow lake — columbia icefield (ice explorer/ glacier skywalk) —athabasca falls — jasper town

  • Icefield Parkway (Pass-through)
    Witness one of Canada’s national treasures and most rewarding destinations.
  • Bow Lake (20-min stop)
    It is the headwaters of the Bow River that runs south through the city of Calgary and onto the Oldman River ultimately to Hudson Bay.
  • Columbia Icefield (3.5 hours stop)
    Visit the largest icefield Canadian Rockies and tour the Athabasca Glacier in a giant Ice Explorer.
    - Ice Explorer (Optional): Ride a massive vehicle specially designed for glacier travel.

    Medicine Lake is one of the largest known sinking rivers in the Western Hemisphere. It is also maybe the largest inaccessible cave system anywhere in the world!
  • Peyto Lake (20-min stop)
    It is a glacier-fed lake in Banff National. Its milky blue color is unique and will change with the seasons and time of day.

  • The Crossing (10-min stop)
    A starting point for tours on the Columbia Icefield. It is also the only place for basic services including public bathrooms, gas station and a restaurant.
  • Crowfoot Glacier (15-min stop)

Reminders

  • A minimum of 4 traveler(s) are required for the tour to depart. If the number of participants does not reach the minimum requirement, the tour will be canceled. An email regarding tour cancellation will be sent 2 day(s) before the departure date

  • In case of delays caused by traffic, weather, or other force majeure factors resulting in the cancellation of some itinerary attractions, please contact customer service. We will arrange a partial refund for you

  • In the event of inclement weather such as typhoons or snowstorms, a decision on whether to cancel the tour will be made 1 day(s) before departure (local time 10:00). Notifications will then be sent via email

  • Please be ready at the meeting location 10 minutes before the pickup time, as the tour will start on time. If you miss the bus, please meet the group at the next pickup location

  • It is highly recommended to check the weather forecast before your arrival and pack accordingly. The temperatures in the Rocky Mountains can drop dramatically at night

  • Please be on time for each meeting point during the tour. Refunds will not be granted to missed tours due to late arrivals and personal reasons

  • Travellers are recommended to download or print out the e-voucher for offline access

  • Due to heightened security, many countries have adopted practices to prevent international abductions of children. If a child is traveling with an adult other than the parents — or with only one parent, it is recommended that a notarised letter with traveling dates is to be written by the parents granting authorisation to travel. It is also recommended to contact relevant consulates and airlines for additional requirements

  • It is recommended to arrange comprehensive travel insurance immediately upon booking your residence as an added measure of protection

  • Smoking and illegal drugs are not allowed on any transportation. Smoking includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, e-cigars, or other smoking devices. Many hotels, restaurants, and other venues are smoke-free or have non-smoking regulations in public spaces. Smoking may be restricted to certain areas or not allowed. Cancellation Policy

  • For cancellations made at least 33 day(s) prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 10% will apply
  • For cancellations made 16 to 32 days prior to selected date, a cancellation fee of 60% will apply
  • Cancellation is not allowed between 0–15 days from the selected date. Orders cannot be canceled or modified, and refunds will not be granted.
NOTE
  • Due to time zone differences, the confirmed cancellation date is based on the supplier’s local time. Please allow 2–5 business days to process your cancellation request, after which the cancellation fee will be charged according to the product’s cancellation policy. Once the cancellation is confirmed, you will receive your refund within 14 working days.
