Bugis Street is a historical district in Singapore that has undergone significant transformation over the years. It was named after the Bugis people who were originally from Sulawesi, Indonesia, and settled in the area in the early 19th century.

In the past, Bugis Street was known as a seedy area with a reputation for Its red-light district and other illicit activities servicing naval personnel using Singapore as a port of call. However, it has since gone a massive transformation and is now one of the city's most popular shopping and entertainment destinations, offering a variety of souvenirs, electronics, and best of all, hawker food stalls!

  • Is there a minimum number of people for the tour to start?
    No at the moment.
  • How many dishes will guest get to sample?
    At least 5 for just 1 or 2 guests, more if there are more people.
  • Will the images be shared after the tour?
    Most definitely. Guest will be given a link to download all the photographs taken throughout the experience.
  • Is there a limitation on the amount of food. Example: if guest like a particular dish, can they order more?
    Having hosted for more than a decade, nobody has yet asked to. The purpose is to let the group sample as much variety as they can muster and if they really like an item, they can always go back at a later time on their own.
  • Does the tour include drinks?
    Yes, local drinks and desserts, but no alcohol. You can get them yourselves if you want to.
  • Is this a rain or shine event?
    Yes. Rain, hail, storm, or shine... Kidding about hail.
  • Can guest choose their own tour start time?
    No. We chose the timings for a better chance at avoiding queue, crowds and availability of tables.
