— What You Can Expect —

During a fun and engaging 4-hour cooking class in a traditional Balinese home, learn how to make and cook an authentic Balinese meal. Find out about the real smells and tastes of Balinese food as you get creative in the kitchen, visit a local market, and eat lots of delicious Balinese food along the way.

Each hands-on class has 5–6 tasty meals that are made in a fully-equipped kitchen. Learn kitchen secrets and tips from a patient and experienced instructor. Courses can be taken in the morning or afternoon, and each one has two breaks where you can try fresh tropical fruit from Bali and Loloh Cem Cem, one of the most well-known homemade plant drinks for health.

Whether you choose the morning or afternoon tour, you will be taken to explore a local market to select the best quality ingredients. Head back to the cooking school for a welcome drink and cookery demonstration. The instructor will prepare the dishes, while you observe. Then it's your turn to get behind the stoves. Create your dishes, with lots of assistance and tips to ensure that your Balinese cuisine is just as it should be. Next, move to the dining area and enjoy the dishes you prepared in an informal atmosphere.
