— What You Can Expect —
Have you ever wanted to schedule a tour on the same day you took it? In just two hours, you'll learn about the history and significance of Bangkok's Chinatown on this quick walking tour! You can also select from a variety of start times to find a time that works for you.
We'll meet at Wat Mangkon station and start our walking tour from there. We're going to Wat Mangkon Kamalawat (Wat Leng Noei Yi). This temple, designed in the classic Chinese architectural style, is the city's largest and most important Chinese temple. We'll admire the imposing edifice and make an offering in the temple before exploring Chinatown's inner streets and alleyways.
Food culture is an important aspect of Chinatown. We'll go along the small passageways, passing merchants selling delectable foods and snacks like rolled rice noodle soup, deep-fried dough sticks, fish balls with noodles and fish wontons, and shrimp wontons. Your experienced and pleasant TripGuru will explain to you the history and tales behind these delectable treats. Feel free to sample these delectable dishes for yourself in order to fully appreciate Chinatown at its finest.
Enjoy a low-impact way of exploring. On this tour, you explore sustainable experiences that prioritize providing water in glass bottles and offsetting carbon emissions in every tour, reducing your environmental impact and carbon footprint.
