Visit Wai-O-Tapu, a geothermal treasure just 20 minutes from Rotorua with this fun nature experience!
Literally translated as “sacred waters” in Maori, get to see this attraction’s collection of hot springs, geysers, and pools. Keep an eye on the surroundings and see how all kinds of volcanic activity have shaped the area into what it is today. Watch out for Lady Knox Geyser’s eruption in the morning, see the bubbling Mud Pool, or visit the sulphur-rich yellow pools. Choose from three different tracks which range from 35 to 75 minutes long.
